AudioShake’s Jessica Powell Joins Octiive Board

Octiive, the largest digital music distributor and creativity hub, run by musicians for musicians, announced the appointment of Jessica Powell as the third member of its Advisory Board.

Bringing her experience as Co-Founder and CEO of AudioShake as well as a decade as a VP at Google, Powell will provide invaluable insight as Octiive continues to develop its AI tools for artists.

Powell joins Rohit Agarwal, Chief Product Officer of SoundCloud and former CPO at CNN, and Rowly Bourne, Head of UK and Ireland Venture Capital & Partnerships for Meta on the board. Octiive has long served independent artists with reach and services only major labels usually offer — including getting access to the largest network of platforms including Tencent in China, Apple, Spotify, Google Play, TikTok, and over 600 other major retailers. Terms provide the highest royalty percentage in the industry with no hidden fees.

Jessica boasts an impressive professional background, most recently with the creation of AudioShake, an innovative A.I. startup specializing in sound separation software dedicated to powering the next wave of audio experiences, and helping musicians generate additional revenue from their creative endeavors. Previously, Jessica served as the Vice President of Communications for Google and played an integral role in the company’s management team. She is a frequent contributor to publications such as The New York Times, Wired and Fast Company, and is the author of two books including The Big Disruption: A Totally Fictionally but Essentially True Silicon Valley Story.
