Metaverse Novel ‘The Last Invention’ Set For Release; Author Looking for Partners to Launch Metaverse Bookstore

Author Diane Lilli wrote a wild book, The Last Invention (The Day Death Died), that’s set to be published by Rebel Books Press on August 1, and will be in bookstores and online.
She’s also talking with anonymous global tech companies to open the first metaverse bookstore.
The story centers around two sisters living in a near-future world, where a global addiction to the metaverse separates them into different realities. As author Lilli says, the story is unique because “we can’t just unplug AI, which is millions of times more intelligent than humans. But we can’t just give up. We need a heroine.”
