Neutune, a Seoul-based AI music technology startup, has launched a groundbreaking AI Remix feature in Mix.audio, enabling effortless remixing and secondary use of artists’ tracks without copyright concerns.

Users can remix any song quickly by inputting prompts, images, or reference music.

The AI generates styles like jazz-hip-hop from a simple command or creates cinematic remixes using references like Hans Zimmer’s compositions.

This unique AI-driven remix capability sets Mix.audio apart as a global first.

Remixed tracks are copyright-free, thanks to Neutune’s partnerships and licensing agreements with renowned artists.

The collaborative works extend beyond single tracks to sets of music blocks, paving the way for interactive experiences in metaverse platforms and NFTs.

The update also introduces ‘AI Radio’, streaming endless music playlists tailored to user-specified moods or themes, akin to a personalized YouTube music playlist. For example, entering prompts like “emotional sounds for focus” or “energetic music for the gym” will continuously play relevant music.

Jongpil Lee, CEO of Neutune, envisions Mix.audio as more than a tool for creating royalty-free music. It’s about transforming and reimagining artists’ music to align with personal moods or creative projects.

Since its beta launch in November 2023, Mix.audio has gained rapid popularity, creating over 100,000 tracks and winning accolades like the CES Innovation Award and the 2024 German Design Award.
